Pacific Northwest Fulfilled
Welcome
I have lived in the greater Seattle area for my entire life and I absolutely love it. Trees, rivers, lakes, ocean views, beaches, mountains; we truly seem to have it all.
Over the past few years, I have increasingly been asked the question,
“Where are you from?”
I can honestly say that this is the oddest question I have been asked, because I have grown up here, and this place is my home. As a native to the area, let me be your go-to source for the ins and outs of the great PNW. Please use this site as your guide.
New restaurants, old restaurants, small restaurants, large restaurants; if it tastes good, you will find it here. Coffee shops, breweries, bars, cafes; if they serve up a tasty drink, you will find it here. Hiking trails, ski resorts, quick weekend getaways, extended travel recommendations; if you are wondering where to explore next,
you will find it here.
To the 114,000 new residents who have come to Seattle since 2010, I stand with a warm smile, a waving hand, and a heartfelt -Welcome-
Welcome to the Great Pacific Northwest…I am SO glad you are here.
Meet Tessa
Hey there, my name is Tessa. I am a mid-20-something year old gal and I have lived my entire life in the Pacific Northwest.
I am a native Seattleite and I love all things food, drink & adventure.
As a graduate from the Univerisity of Washington, Seattle I am a proud Husky. During my time at UW, I received my Bachelors’ degree in Medical Anthropology and Global Health and discovered my love for exploring what the world has to offer.
Just a few years later, and here I am! I currently work a full time, 9-5 M-F job at a local Global Health Organization. I run this blog during my free nights and weekends because I love sharing my foodie and outdoorsy findings with my readers. And because working full-time and blogging wasn’t enough (just kidding, it was)… I’m also a yoga instructor! Feel free to check out my schedule and private Seattle area yoga services located here.
My #1 goal in life: Help make the world a better place.
Whether it is adding a newly found smile onto someone’s face, giving a couple their new favorite date spot, or bringing a family together to enjoy time in the mountains, I live to bring joy and happiness to people through newly found experiences.
I do believe that a few more smiles, a few more rounds of laughter, and some good, quality time spent eating delicious food and sipping on yummy drinks, can make the world a better place.
Sure, it’s not the grandest gesture, but a few more happy people in this world will definitely make this place
shine just a little brighter.
