My honest review of the CariPro

What’s a CariPro?

CariPro is Smile Brilliant’s Ultrasonic Electric Toothbrush offering 5 different brush modes, a 30 day battery life, waterproof usability with dynamic cleaning action of 40,000 vibrations/ minute. If you’re asking me, it’s the Ferrari of the ultrasonic electric toothbrush world.

So, I get the box of goodies and am so excited because (gasp)… I’ve NEVER used an electric toothbrush before. I whipped my CariPro out of the box so fast and ran straight to the bathroom to give it a test drive. You guys! It came fully charged and ready to go, how cool is that?! Anywho, I tried it out and boy did it make my nose tickle, my tongue tickle and I wasn’t suuuuper sure how I felt about the crazy vibrations going on in my mouth. Until right after I finished my session. I did a quick swipe-over with my tongue to my teeth and I kid you not, my teeth felt cleaner and smoother than they ever had before. THE CARIPRO worked! It really did clean my teeth better than those manual toothbrushes I’ve been using for the last 25 years.

Now, let’s dive more into the CariPro system because now as I’m sitting here writing about it, I’m getting even more excited to share the details with you.

What makes the CariPro different?

Five Brush Mode Settings

1. Clean

Their words: Optimal cleaning results.

Mine: This one’s my favorite. It’s your “average” wavelength, tone, vibration, whatever you want to call it. It’s comfortable and my day-to-day setting. My teeth always feel clean after I use this setting.

2. White

Their words: High speed polishing

Mine: The white setting is a bit more aggressive than the clean setting. I would say that this setting probably won’t be your favorite if you have sensitive gums or a receding gum-line. But! If you feel the need to really get some work done, then give this setting a shot.

3. Massage

Their words: Gentle Stimulation

Mine: Two words; rapid fire. The massage setting is like that one setting in the nail salon’s massage chair where it’s karate chopping you in the back and you feel like it might just be beating you to death. Let’s just say this setting isn’t my favorite. But hey, it might be yours!

4. Gum Care

Their words: Timed pulse and gum line health

Mine: The gum care setting to me feels like the intro to a Daft Punk song. Honestly, I caught myself dancing along to the rhythm of this setting. What makes techno beats “gum care” beats me but it’s a fun setting that you should try at least once.

5. Sensitive:

Their words: Ideal for sensitive teeth

Mine: My second favorite setting. This one is really quite nice actually. The sensitive setting offers a low and almost calming vibration. If you’re new to electric toothbrushes, I’d recommend starting here.

Your mouth will be healthier

No really, it’s the truth. An electric toothbrush like the CariPro, removes 7x more plague than a manual toothbrush and can improve gum health in as little as two weeks. That’s insane to me; insanely cool that is. Plus, daily brushing with the CariPro can remove more surface stains giving you a brighter, whiter smile and who doesn’t want that.

You’re not stuck if you hate it

Smile Brilliant knows youll love the CariPro so much that they offer a 60 day trial. For Real. If you don’t love it and it’s amazing abilities, then you can return it for free. (and if you do love it, but something goes wrong with it, there’s a 2 year warranty).

Tips & Tricks for Success

1. Be gentle. Many people think that brushing their teeth harder is going to give them better results, but the reality is that brushing harder leads to damaged gum tissue. Let the CariPro do the work for you by using gentle brush strokes.
2. Maintain correct angle. The angle of your CariPro should be a 45-degree angle. Many people brush right up against their teeth but if you tilt your brush just a tad then you’ll reach more surface area of your tooth at at time.
3. Follow your four quadrants. Yes, you can split your mouth up into four quadrants/ four corners. When using the CariPro, you’ll notice that every 30 seconds, you receive a “burst” effect. That means it’s time to move onto the next section of your mouth. 30 seconds per quadrant means 2 minutes of brushing.
