A 2120 Brunch
2120 is a fairly new player in the Seattle restaurant game.
Luckily, they are located next to the
2120 was NOT busy for brunch… but it should be because the brunch here is amazing.
Looking for an uncrowded brunch in Seattle? 2120 is your best bet.
Great food, empty restaurant. Usually an empty restaurant sends me running. But I know that 2120 is a good
2120’s downtown location is great for weekday workers, but
Are you afraid of parking downtown?
Well, let me tell you that their parking garage offers free 2-hour parking for brunch-goers. Free parking downtown on a Saturday is an insane deal in this city, so you better take advantage of it. If you brunch it here on a Sunday, then good news; street parking is free on Sundays in Seattle.
I came here to catch up with an old friend who I hadn’t seen in a few months, and our waitress had to come back 3 times before we were ready to order because we hadn’t even looked at the menu yet. Luckily, it wasn’t busy at all so we could afford to take our time.
To Eat
- Veggie Benedict. Avocado, Roasted Tomato, Brussel Sprouts, Lime, Eggs, Hollandaise
I do love a chef that knows how to serve a benedict; I.e. Eggs with runny yolks. I
Also, shaved brussel sprouts on top of a Benedict. Genius!
Want to know a fun fact about this place? They have a special ghost pepper sauce in the back that you can ask for. They say its only for the employees but if you’re nice, they’ll give you some.
To add, the staff here are really wonderful. Truly, nice people.
One last random thing to add. There is a dog park right outside. Literally, we sat next to the window near the Amazon spheres and kept seeing dogs walking into the park with their owners. So if you want to bring Fido, you will have to leave him outside of the restaurant, but you can play with him in the park after your belly is full, and your fur-pal can make some new furry friends. Most dogs that frequent this park are city dogs who live in the high rises, so while the park may seem small to you and me, it is such a treat for these city-living dawgs to get outside and be off-leash.
Alright, that is all for now. Happy Brunching!
