Whether this is your first, fifth or 25^th Independence Day in Seattle, you should know that there is one place to be on this special day. Lake Union.

Lake Union’s 4th of July fireworks show is my favorite fireworks show, EVER.

I have attended Lake Union’s 4^th of July celebration since I was a child, and I hold only the best memories from it.

And in case you’re wondering how you can watch the show… You’re in luck because there are so many options when choosing your viewing location.

You can find a friend with a boat, find a friend who lives on/near Lake Union, grab a seat at Gasworks or just walk down one of the many streets with a view of the lake and pitch a chair on the sidewalk.

Yes, you will sit in some traffic and be fighting crowds in order to partake in the festivities. But do it, at least once.

The show is worth it.
